UMT-SBE Faculty Member Dr Yasir Rashid Completes Certification in Digital Marketing and Social Media Analytics from MIT, USA

Dr Yasir Rashid, PhD Marketing, NZ, has successfully completed a Professional Certification in Digital Marketing and Social Media Analytics from MIT Sloan School of Management, USA. The certification course was conducted by a well known David Austin Professor at MIT Sloan, Prof Sinan Aral. The class was comprised of participants representing top organizations of the world such as HP, Oracle, SAP, LinkedIN, Rolex USA, NIKE Inc., Daymon, Accenture and Hansen Technologies etc.
UMT was the only Pakistani organization which was represented by Dr Yasir who secured admission in this course. Upon his return, Dr Yasir will be offering courses on Digital Marketing Analytics at BBA and MBA level every year. This will equip UMT students with latest technologies and trends, and stand out in a competitive job market. He is also planning to establish a Digital Marketing Lab at UMT. This will not only be a trendsetter in the Pakistani market, but also aim to bring digital revolution in Pakistan.
