Inaugural Session of ICEEES2016 Attended by Researchers, Academicians and Policy Makers

The inaugural session of the International Conference on Energy for Environmental and Economic Sustainability (ICEEES2016) was held today at the Pear Continental, Lahore. Sher Ali, Minister, Mines and Minerals Punjab, and Prof Dr Muhammad Nizammuddin, Chairperson, PHEC, were among the honored guests on the occasion. Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad, Rector UMT, gave the welcome note on the occasion. Speaking on the occasion, he stressed the importance of renewable energy for sustainable economic growth. He said that UMT is an equal partner in the journey of national development and is offering educational programs that are training the youth to make positive contribution to the energy sector.
As the significant event for new energy market, the conference provides a highly interactive platform for leading new energy researchers, experts and enterprisers to discuss recent advances in the science and technology of clean and renewable new energy. It will also provide an excellent opportunity for experts to develop international cooperative relationships for mutual benefit and development within new energy field.
