IBCE 2017 Soft Opening Ceremony

IBCE Secretariat organized a one day Soft Opening Ceremony of IBCE 2017 on March 14, 2017 in DG Office UMT. This ceremony aimed to generate an awareness of the significance of this event among stakeholders.
On this occasion Abid Khan Shirwani, DG UMT, said that this Conference and Exhibition would assist the government in achieving the goal of economic development and growth, UMT has taken the initiative of organizing IBCE. The University aims to create strategic linkages between Business, Academia, and Government that would have a multiplier effect on trade and economic development in Pakistan. UMT management’s vision is to provide a platform to students and the youth for global business networking, technology transfer, trade promotion, with a strong infusion of educational thrust. In its final effect, the effort is likely to facilitate the socio-economic and technological change the government wants to bring.
The honorable guests of the event Anis Iqbal Chaudhry, Chairman, TUMSIAD Turkey, and Tanveer Sidduiqi, MD Albayrak, said that the initiative taken by UMT would contribute in economic empowerment of Pakistan and in coming years, this would become a platform for business transformation. They expressed their best wishes for forthcoming event of IBCE 2017.
