CCPO Lahore visits UMT

Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Capt. Muhammad Ameen Vance called on Rector UMT Dr Hasan Sohaib Murad and shared his views on the current law and order situation, and recent terror attack on Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park. The CCPO also addressed a session with University students, faculty members and public on the topic of security measures and civil responsibilities. He said his visit was a part of field campaign, which his department had started to mobilize community and provide them with awareness about terrorism and how to deal with it. Mr Ameen said Lahore Police is providing security at beat best possible level and engaging every member of society in order to defeat enemies of Pakistan. He said more than 277 security units have been expanded which will ensure public security in the best possible way. CCPO asked students and teachers to get registered themselves with the number 8330 and provide quick information in case of any emergency, suspicious activity or police complaint.
