Abid H K Shirwani Delivers Opening Remarks at the IBCE 2016

Abid H K Shirwani, Director General UMT and Chief Organizer IBCE, welcomed the national and international delegates, and distinguished guests. He said that educational institutes seldom organize events to promote trade and investment. In this regard, UMT has scored a first by organizing the IBCE 2016 which aims to create s synergy in order to move the development agenda forward and add value to Pakistani products. He said that with the help of our Chinese and Turkish brothers, the IBCE is all set to drive technology transfer, facilitate innovation and boost entrepreneurship.
The DG UMT took the opportunity to thank the 50+ foreign delegates and 150 companies that are participating in the IBCE 2016. He also thanked the sponsors, media channels, especially the Jang Media Group which is the media partner for the event. He said that UMT has decided to organize IBCE 2016 regularly- ‘I invite you to attend the IBCE 2017 and beyond.’
